Search Modes: Quick - Normal search scope, includes patent file history data as well as PTAB proceedings. PTAB Only - Only searches the PTAB database (useful when searching parties with large patent portfolios). PTAB Decisions - Text search of PTAB decisions. Example: "settled expectations". PTAB Attorney Name - Searches PTAB proceedings where the search term appears as lead counsel. If searching a full name, use "Last, First" format. Quotation marks are not required. Prosecution Attorney Search - Structured USPTO search for matters where a particular attorney is listed as having power of attorney.
Recent Discretionary Decisions - Retrieves all Director discretionary denials/referrals. Settled Expectations Search - Shortcut for a PTAB Decisions search for opinions addressing "settled expectations". Pending Director Review Search - Shortcut for a search of cases awaiting a Director Review decision.
